Choose your app’s eligibility policy separately from private record storage. Arkognito handles one-time ownership and optional Semaphore participation. Your application decides who may join the group and verifies the evidence for that decision off-chain.

Anon Aadhaar

Gate group enrollment with a credential proof, then use Semaphore for anonymous submissions. Experimental; the combined admission adapter is not implemented.

Semaphore groups

Create groups, enroll approved commitments and verify anonymous records with the implemented APIs.

The admission boundary

  1. The user derives a random-secret group commitment in their own vault.
  2. Your admission service verifies the chosen eligibility evidence.
  3. It checks freshness, audience, issuer/key policy and binding to that target commitment/group.
  4. Your admin enrolls the approved commitment.
  5. Subsequent records use Semaphore membership proofs through the same SDK workflow.
There is no production credential adapter or public “approve me” endpoint included. A Boolean supplied by a browser is not eligibility evidence. Preventing repeated enrollment is a separate policy; Semaphore limits identities already admitted to a group, not unique people.
Keep credentials, attester data and private admission records off Arkiv. The hackathon forbids plaintext or hashed personal data, and this repository requires synthetic demonstrations. Do not publish real credential proofs or credential-derived nullifiers. Use synthetic credentials and synthetic records for demonstrations. Start with anonymous group permissions. See the Anon Aadhaar integration boundary when your app needs that policy.
