# Wallet Tools

These tools help the agent understand the wallet before it spends anything.

## `check_balance`

Use this tool to inspect the current wallet address and the available balance.

Typical use:

* confirm the user has enough USDC before calling `pay`
* confirm the wallet the agent is using is the expected one
* display the current network in the UI or logs

## `request_funding`

Use this tool when the wallet needs a funding link or a simple top-up path.

Typical use:

* show a user how to fund the agent wallet
* create a clean handoff to on-chain funding
* support onboarding when the wallet starts empty

## When to use these tools

Use wallet tools before any payment or session setup.
They are the first safety check in the PIXA flow.
